Ricochet Robot 4.0 - Solution

The problem this month is a variation on a previous variation. In earlier puzzles we had you getting all four robots to their destination squares. Well, you still have to do that this time but the trick is that you now have three possible destination squares for each robot. For example it does not matter which blue square you get the blue robot to, any of them will suffice.

1) Blue Up
2) Green Up
3) Yellow Left
4) Red Right
5) Red Up
6) Red Left
7) Yellow Up
8) Yellow Right
9) Green Left
10) Green Up (home)
11) Blue Down (home)
12) Red Right (home)
13) Yellow Down (home)

This would seem to have been a rather difficult puzzle as there were a great number of incorrect entries. In fact, there was only one entry with the optimal solution. A number of people responded that they weren't able to "optimize" their moves as they normally would in a standard Ricochet Robot puzzle so perhaps this is a good thing? I'd be interested to hear any comments as to the difficulty of this puzzle (too hard?) or if this is desirable.

Congratulations to Jon Grimm who submitted the correct solution!
