OCTI 1.0 Solution
In Octi, pieces can jump like checkers but only in the direction of their spikes. One may jump over pieces of either color, and multiple jumps are allowed. The jumping player may capture any piece that is jumped, at his/her option.
Instead of jumping, a player may add a spike, move a piece one square in the direction of its spikes, or bring a reserve piece onto the board. The object of the game is to occupy all three of the opponent's dark squares.
Blue to move and capture 3 Red pieces. If this game were played with an edgeless (toroidal) board, Blue to move and capture all 7 red pieces!
Solution: Using XY coordinates, the move is 64-62-84-66-48x-26x-24x-42-69x-67x-87x-89x. Note that if just 3 pieces are captured, it is best done by removing the friendly Blue piece on square 75, so as to prevent a Red counterattack.
